What to bring
Bring this checklist so your first consultation is focused and useful.
A first surgical visit goes faster when your prior reports, medication list and symptom history are ready. Missing documents often mean repeat tests or a second appointment — costing time and money.
This list is not mandatory, but the more you bring, the fewer extra investigations you may need and the clearer your answers will be. A family member can help when decisions feel complex.
Essentials
- National ID / passport
- Previous prescriptions and a medication list
- Ultrasound, X-ray, CT/MRI reports and discs/USB
- Blood test results (if available)
- Any prior surgeon notes or discharge summary
Helpful extras
- Short note: when symptoms started and what worsens/improves them
- Allergy list and chronic conditions
- A family member if decisions may be needed
After the visit
- Note the date of any planned tests or surgery
- Write down medicine and diet instructions given
- Ask brief follow-up questions by call/WhatsApp if unclear
- Report new symptoms or reports before your next appointment
